26th June - 30th June (Week 7)

I took medical leave on 23rd June (Friday) due to a migraine. However, I managed to contact one of my students from 4 Amanah / 4 Bestari / 4 Cekal. I asked him to monitor his friends during my absence. I wanted them to create a mind map just like 4 Efisien. So that I can start my class on 26th June (Monday) with their presentation. 

I returned to school on the 26th of June (Monday) because I felt better. I started my class with 4 Amanah / 4 Bestari / 4 Cekal presentations. Since this week has 3 public holidays, only a few students attended school. Due to that reason too, the person who was supposed to bring their group's mahjong paper was absent. To make their work become easy, I gave them A4 paper and asked them to recreate a new mind map. 30 minutes were given to them to complete their new mind map and prepare for their presentation. 


After that, I continued the presentation at 4 Efisien. The same problems as the previous class, the person who was supposed to bring the mahjong paper didn't attend school. But, they had the initiative to go to kedai buku and buy a new mahjong paper. 30 minutes were given for them to complete their new mind map and, at the same time, be ready for their time to present. 


In addition, on 28th until the 30th of June are public holidays due to Hari Raya Aidiladha. Hence, that is all my updates for this week. I will continue to share my practicum journey next week. Happy holiday!

21st August - 25th August (Week 15)

This week marks the end of the first round of examinations for all students at the beginning of the year. In addition to that, this week will be the final week before the break between term 2 and 3. The students are excited that the examinations are done and will not be required to attend school the following week. This makes them doubly happy. The timetable for the examinations remains unchanged.  On 22 August (Tuesday), The English Drama Co-Academic Competition had the participation of 24 different schools. SMK Tiara Permai in Sentul served as the venue for the competition. It was a closed drama competition. Thus, no spectators will be allowed to see any teams compete.     Form 4 English Oral Test began on 21 - 23 August (Monday until Wednesday). 31st July - 4th August (Week 12)

Last 1 August (Tuesday) - 4 August (Friday), all morning session English teachers involved with Form 5's speaking and listening test. It was our first time being an interlocutor. It was a great new experience for us. Furthermore, on 2 August (Wednesday), for extracurricular activity, every student must gather at the assembly point for a drawing competition. After taking all of  Kelab Kudayaan 's attendance, Ms Haniza, the head of Arts teacher, explained the competition rules. Each teacher was given drawing paper to distribute to the students. On the next day, 3 August (Thursday), the independence month launch ceremony was held at the assembly site. Various interesting activities were carried out on the day, such as launching gimmicks, reciting poems and singing independence day songs together. Although the teachers are busy preparing for the exam next week, we still practice for the sketch drama competition at the school last August 5 (Saturday).
