Splendid Journey with Athirah Amni

Starting on 26 August (Saturday), students will be on break from school until 3 September (Sunday). As a result of this, each and every student and teacher now has the ability as well as the space to unwind and spend additional time with their families and friends. The lesson and teaching session will back up the following 4 September (Monday).

This week marks the end of the first round of examinations for all students at the beginning of the year. In addition to that, this week will be the final week before the break between term 2 and 3. The students are excited that the examinations are done and will not be required to attend school the following week. This makes them doubly happy. The timetable for the examinations remains unchanged.  On 22 August (Tuesday), The English Drama Co-Academic Competition had the participation of 24 different schools. SMK Tiara Permai in Sentul served as the venue for the competition. It was a closed drama competition. Thus, no spectators will be allowed to see any teams compete.     Form 4 English Oral Test began on 21 - 23 August (Monday until Wednesday). Meanwhile, the Form 4 Listening Test was conducted on 24 August (Thursday).     The examinations scheduled for Forms 4 and 5 will proceed as planned. Conversely, students in Form 3 will start their first year of tests on August 14 (Monday). As usual, the practical teachers have to fulfill the relief schedule to replace the teachers who are not at school this week. While waiting for the answer time to end, I usually spend the available time to mark the students' answer sheets. In addition, the drama's preparations went through as scheduled, as they do every week. Because the competition will be on August 22 (Tuesday), this week is the final week they will have the opportunity to practice.

  The beginning of the early-year exams have already started this week. Hence, teachers will not proceed with their lessons and teaching sessions with the students. Teachers will be given a block schedule for each class conducting the exam. We were also asked to fill in for relief for the absent teachers during the examination weeks.  The teachers are not only occupied with taking care of the class that is currently undergoing examinations but also with marking the question papers that have been answered by the pupils. Even though it is examination week, we continue our drama practice after school.  As announced by the government, on 12 August, people from 6 states will hold elections. Because most teachers in this school come from Kelantan and Terengganu, the school management applied for a holiday on 11 August, and the application was approved. Last 1 August (Tuesday) - 4 August (Friday), all morning session English teachers involved with Form 5's speaking and listening test. It was our first time being an interlocutor. It was a great new experience for us. Furthermore, on 2 August (Wednesday), for extracurricular activity, every student must gather at the assembly point for a drawing competition. After taking all of  Kelab Kudayaan 's attendance, Ms Haniza, the head of Arts teacher, explained the competition rules. Each teacher was given drawing paper to distribute to the students. On the next day, 3 August (Thursday), the independence month launch ceremony was held at the assembly site. Various interesting activities were carried out on the day, such as launching gimmicks, reciting poems and singing independence day songs together. Although the teachers are busy preparing for the exam next week, we still practice for the sketch drama competition at the school last August 5 (Saturday).
