19th June - 23rd June (Week 6)
As the exam season approaches, teachers constantly seek effective methods to help their students perform their best. One such method that has gained recognition is the organization of a pre-exam test. Hence, the senior teachers shed light on the benefits of conducting a test before the actual examination and why it is an invaluable tool in preparing students for success.
One of the teachers created the question papers and divided them among each of us who teach form 4. There were 3 sections, Section A: Fill in the blank, Section B: Complete the sentence and Section C: Essay. The questions were relatively easy for a teacher, but it was otherwise for the students. They found it very hard to do. However, some of them still need help to complete the question paper.
On 19th June (Monday), I have 2 class periods with 4 Amanah / 4 Bestari / 4 Cekal and 4 Efisien. That's why I took that chance to do the pre-exam test.
On 24th June (Wednesday), it was activity Clubs and Associations and Uniformed Body Units. As usual, for the first one and a half hours, I will attend Kelab Kebudayaan's meeting first. Due to the busyness that the teachers are experiencing, Pn. Sulhaniza asked me to monitor the activity session. She bought some traditional games for the class and let the students enjoy themselves while playing them with their friends. After a while, the students started to get bored. One of them took a guitar, and the whole class started to sing.
After that, I went to Kadet Bomba's meeting. Pn. Norliza wanted to do a test for the squad. Some seniors taught the squad how to tie and knots a few weeks ago. So, she wanted to make her squad remember the ties and knots. She organized a test for ties and knots. The test was going on from 3:00 pm until 4:30 pm.
The next day, 22nd June (Thursday), was my birthday, and I had a period class with 4 Efisien. Since I only have 30 minutes for class. I provided 4 mahjong papers for the students and asked them to create a mind map of "Ways to spend money wisely as a students". The whole class sang the Happy Birthday song to me during the activities. I was overwhelmed by their act. It was my favourite moment in my life.
My week doesn't end with Friday. On 24th June (Saturday), the school organized a Persatuan Ibu Bapa dan Guru's (PIBG) meeting. We have to be at school as early as 7:00 am. I am a member of the invitation committee. I should have sent the invitation and received a response from the parents. But, when I asked the head member of the invitation committee, Pn. Hafizah, she informed me that all invitation tasks have been completed. Because of that, I offered to help Abyana with prize management as she is a prize committee member. The event went smoothly and ended at 12:00 pm.
