I took medical leave on 23rd June (Friday) due to a migraine. However, I managed to contact one of my students from 4 Amanah / 4 Bestari / 4 Cekal. I asked him to monitor his friends during my absence. I wanted them to create a mind map just like 4 Efisien. So that I can start my class on 26th June (Monday) with their presentation.  I returned to school on the 26th of June (Monday) because I felt better. I started my class with 4 Amanah / 4 Bestari / 4 Cekal presentations. Since this week has 3 public holidays, only a few students attended school. Due to that reason too, the person who was supposed to bring their group's mahjong paper was absent. To make their work become easy, I gave them A4 paper and asked them to recreate a new mind map. 30 minutes were given to them to complete their new mind map and prepare for their presentation.  After that, I continued the presentation at 4 Efisien. The same problems as the previous class, the person who was supposed to bring the mahjo...

As the exam season approaches, teachers constantly seek effective methods to help their students perform their best. One such method that has gained recognition is the organization of a pre-exam test. Hence, the senior teachers shed light on the benefits of conducting a test before the actual examination and why it is an invaluable tool in preparing students for success. One of the teachers created the question papers and divided them among each of us who teach form 4. There were 3 sections, Section A: Fill in the blank, Section B: Complete the sentence and Section C: Essay. The questions were relatively easy for a teacher, but it was otherwise for the students. They found it very hard to do. However, some of them still need help to complete the question paper.  On 19th June (Monday), I have 2 class periods with 4 Amanah / 4 Bestari / 4 Cekal and 4 Efisien. That's why I took that chance to do the pre-exam test.  On 24th June (Wednesday), it was activity Clubs and Associa...

As a practicum teacher at a secondary school, every day brings new experiences, challenges, and moments of joy. Join me as I share a glimpse into my world, where I strive to positively impact the lives of my students and foster their love for learning.  I arrived at the school brimming with enthusiasm and anticipation for the day ahead. With lesson plans in hand, I prepared my classroom, creating a warm and engaging environment to set the stage for a productive day of learning. The buzz of students' greetings energized me as I entered the classroom, and I knew it would be a great day. As for the start of my Monday morning, I have to take care of my Kadet Bomba  students because they have to lead the assembly.  The usual buzz of excitement filled the air as the school assembly began. Students gathered in the assembly area, eager to participate in a shared learning and community experience. What awaited them, however, was something truly extraordinary. The march during the ...

Howdy readers! Last week was a school holiday, so I have nothing to update. In addition, it was a public holiday on 5th June (Monday). Hence, I was swamped preparing a script for a drama sketch competition. It was one of the competitions for Jejak Juara organized by Jabatan Pendidikan Wilayah Persekutuan . Since we were young and full of ideas, the English teachers allowed us to conduct the students during practices.  On 6th June (Tuesday), we had a first meeting for the participants. They were 15 participants, and only 3 students were absent during the meet-up. We did a script reading and casting which students are suitable for the characters. Everything went well. We already chose the actors and actresses. They were so excited to start the practice sessions. In addition, on 7th June (Wednesday), it was my first time being involved with physical kokurikulum . As I mentioned before, Ms Kuah assigned me to be with Pn. Norliza and Pn. Fazillah for Kadet Bomba's uniform unit and Kelab...
