11th September - 15th September (Week 18)

Although I just got back from camping, the energy is not enough. Our responsibility as a teacher continues. On 11 September (Monday), Cooperative Week was inaugurated. The event was officiated by Senior Administrative Assistant Datin Norsiah. After the inauguration, the students were asked to enter their respective classes for the learning session. 

On 13 September (Wednesday), all students and teachers of the morning and afternoon sessions gathered at the assembly site to participate in the Mesyuarat Agung Koperasi SMK Cochrane Perkasa KL Berhad 2023. There has been the dissolution of positions and the appointment of new positions from among teachers and students.

On 14 September (Thursday), my lecturer, also known as my academic supervisor, Madam Sherliaty, attended the school to conduct observations while I was teaching. The class I have set is a combination of 3 classes, which are 4 Amanah, 4 Bestari and 4 Cekal. I was very nervous that day, but I knew I had done my best to spread knowledge to all my students. I am also delighted because all my students cooperate and respond when I teach. 
 

They were not only responsive, but they also cooperated a lot during class activities and spoke in English throughout the class. However, on regular days, they often use Bahasa Melayu. After the observation, Madam Sherliaty praised the way I teach. Although there were some mistakes I have made, overall, Madam Sherliaty is very satisfied with the way I teach.

On 16 September (Friday), the farewell ceremony for Cik Kamalliah, better known as Cikgu Kem, took place. Cikgu Kem's last speech made her unable to hold back tears. Although she only worked at SMK Cochrane Perkasa for 2 years, her memories with her fellow teachers and students are permanently embedded in her heart. 

 

This farewell party touched me, and I secretly hoped the school would hold a farewell party for us when we finished our work at SMK Cochrane Perkasa.

21st August - 25th August (Week 15)

This week marks the end of the first round of examinations for all students at the beginning of the year. In addition to that, this week will be the final week before the break between term 2 and 3. The students are excited that the examinations are done and will not be required to attend school the following week. This makes them doubly happy. The timetable for the examinations remains unchanged.  On 22 August (Tuesday), The English Drama Co-Academic Competition had the participation of 24 different schools. SMK Tiara Permai in Sentul served as the venue for the competition. It was a closed drama competition. Thus, no spectators will be allowed to see any teams compete.     Form 4 English Oral Test began on 21 - 23 August (Monday until Wednesday). 31st July - 4th August (Week 12)

Last 1 August (Tuesday) - 4 August (Friday), all morning session English teachers involved with Form 5's speaking and listening test. It was our first time being an interlocutor. It was a great new experience for us. Furthermore, on 2 August (Wednesday), for extracurricular activity, every student must gather at the assembly point for a drawing competition. After taking all of  Kelab Kudayaan 's attendance, Ms Haniza, the head of Arts teacher, explained the competition rules. Each teacher was given drawing paper to distribute to the students. On the next day, 3 August (Thursday), the independence month launch ceremony was held at the assembly site. Various interesting activities were carried out on the day, such as launching gimmicks, reciting poems and singing independence day songs together. Although the teachers are busy preparing for the exam next week, we still practice for the sketch drama competition at the school last August 5 (Saturday).
