3rd July - 7th July (Week 8)

 

It was a great yet hectic week for me and my friends. Let's start from the first day of the week. On Monday, 3rd July (Monday), we had a farewell ceremony for 4 senior teachers who had to transfer to another school. During the ceremony, Abyana and I have to be "dulang girl". The ceremony went well, and we ended the ceremony with lunch for the teachers.

The next day, we proceeded to the drama practice for the students. We started to do some probs and practice the students' intonations and expressions. The students must be ready because the competition will be next month. With all upcoming sports activities, the students have to show some improvement regarding their scenes.

On 5th July (Wednesday), as usual, I will help Pn. Sulhaniza to take care of Kelab Kebudayaan's students. We organized an activity on how to create a wau. However, a few students didn't bring the materials to make a wau. So, I suggested they draw a wau on mahjong paper provided by En. Azim. The students were so creative. They created their wau using their imaginations.


After that, at 3pm, I went to Laman Ilmu, also known as the assembly court, for marching practice. The students must do marching practice because all uniformed units must participate in the parade during sports day. 


On 8th July (Saturday), we have a cross country competition at school. That day, I was assigned to be a final judge for Form 3 students. The event went well, and the yellow house got the highest marks.

21st August - 25th August (Week 15)

This week marks the end of the first round of examinations for all students at the beginning of the year. In addition to that, this week will be the final week before the break between term 2 and 3. The students are excited that the examinations are done and will not be required to attend school the following week. This makes them doubly happy. The timetable for the examinations remains unchanged.  On 22 August (Tuesday), The English Drama Co-Academic Competition had the participation of 24 different schools. SMK Tiara Permai in Sentul served as the venue for the competition. It was a closed drama competition. Thus, no spectators will be allowed to see any teams compete.     Form 4 English Oral Test began on 21 - 23 August (Monday until Wednesday). 31st July - 4th August (Week 12)

Last 1 August (Tuesday) - 4 August (Friday), all morning session English teachers involved with Form 5's speaking and listening test. It was our first time being an interlocutor. It was a great new experience for us. Furthermore, on 2 August (Wednesday), for extracurricular activity, every student must gather at the assembly point for a drawing competition. After taking all of  Kelab Kudayaan 's attendance, Ms Haniza, the head of Arts teacher, explained the competition rules. Each teacher was given drawing paper to distribute to the students. On the next day, 3 August (Thursday), the independence month launch ceremony was held at the assembly site. Various interesting activities were carried out on the day, such as launching gimmicks, reciting poems and singing independence day songs together. Although the teachers are busy preparing for the exam next week, we still practice for the sketch drama competition at the school last August 5 (Saturday).
